Experienced Parts Management Specialist (Level 4) Production Control

Boeing Defense Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for an Experienced Parts Management Specialist (Level 4) Production Control to join our dynamic team in Berkeley MO.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Performs inventory assessments and optimizes inventory management
  • Executes regular safety stock inventory management
  • Determines resolution for abnormal parts condition management
  • Leads overall parts coordination status tracking and communication
  • Incorporates change and planning decisions to arrive at optimal solutions
  • Applies Supply Chain Management (SCM) methodologies to ensure coordination in the global supply chain
  • Ensures integration of Bills of Material (BOM) change into production plan schedules
  • Oversees on-time delivery
  • Documents and elevates order delinquencies constraints
  • Reports schedule adherence issues
  • Assists with and oversees inventory plans
  • Optimizes inventory levels
  • Analyzes and dispositions excess inventories
  • Initiates audits
  • Develops and creates schedules for products and services
  • Assists in developing estimates and schedules for new business proposals
  • Implements and maintains process improvements by analyzing and establishing best practices for materials management to improve SCM performance
  • Works under general direction

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location.

This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. (A final U.S. Secret Clearance Post Start is required.)

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 3 years of experience in supply chain logistics or materials management.
  • 3 years of experience working in a manufacturing warehouse shipping or customer service environment.
  • 3 years of experience in Production Control and Material Management processes.
  • 3 years of experience using all the following Microsoft Office Applications (Word Excel and PowerPoint).

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelors degree or higher
  • 3 years experience executing deliverables for both internal/external customers

This position will be expected to work 1st Shift on most occasions

Relocation:

Position may require travel up to 10% of the time.
