Northern Trust Asset Management (NTAM) is seeking a Database and Content Specialist to join the North American RFP team based in Chicago Illinois. The RFP team is a part of the Global Institutional Client Group (GICG) and is responsible for the timely completion of Requests for Proposals (RFPs) Requests for Information (RFIs) Due Diligence Questionnaires (DDQs) and ad hoc requests from distribution partners as well as maintaining consultant databases housing our investment products.
In this role the partner will support our teams consultant database specialist and content specialist.
Role Summary:
As a database and content specialist supporting client and consultant relationships and content management the partner will work closely with client relationship managers sales specialists and consultant relations directors managing and updating information within consultant databases as well as maintaining and enhancing RFP content.
Responsibilities include receiving and processing monthly quarterly annual and ad hoc data requests and ensuring accuracy and consistency of firm and product information across multiple database platforms. The specialist will collaborate extensively with cross-functional teamsincluding client reporting compliance performance attribution client portfolio management risk and technologyto maintain comprehensive and up-to-date profiles in consultant databases and our RFP content database.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Respond to coordinate and assemble information for regular consultant database updates to support consultant and client relationships.
- Add value to both the database and content management processes by liaising with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) in a timely manner and following up as needed to ensure completeness and accuracy.
- Assist the content manager in maintaining the RFP database (Qvidian) by engaging with SMEs flagging outdated or expired content and ensuring consistency across all submissions.
Desired Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree required preferably in finance or economics.
- 1-3 years of experience in financial services; experience in asset management is preferred.
- General knowledge of equity and fixed income investment concepts.
- Ability to multitask and manage conflicting priorities and workflows
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- Strong time management and organization skills are critical
- Experience with Microsoft Office products (Word Excel and Teams)
Salary Range:
$67500 - 111500 USDSalary range is a good faith estimate of base pay. Northern Trust provides a comprehensive benefits package including retirement benefits (401k and pension) health and welfare benefits (medical dental vision spending accounts and disability) paid time off parental and caregiver leave life & accident insurance and other voluntary and well-being benefits. Northern Trust also provides a discretionary bonus program that may include an equity component.
