Position Summary...

What youll do...

Operates vehicle over 10000 pounds safely by adhering to all safety requirements; inspecting mechanical safety and emergency equipment of vehicle unit before during and after trips; planning routes based on local and state traffic laws and restrictions; and following routes according to information from maps and atlas.

Manages freight flow by moving and processing freight manually and with power equipment (for example single and double pallet jack lift pacer); identifying counting separating and scanning freight; utilizing warehouse management system terminal scales and scanners; and completing paperwork logs and other required documentation.

Maintains area of responsibility by loading and unloading product into and out of vehicle; ensuring cleanliness of vehicle; following appropriate policies and procedures for preparing handling packaging labeling and storing food products; identifying shrink and damages; removing damaged or out-of date goods; identifying and processing claims and returns; maintaining merchandise presentation; and securing fragile and high-shrink merchandise.

Provides customer service by acknowledging the customer; delivering merchandise to customers at residential and commercial locations; following compliance requirements for food safety by processing items according to company specification; operating maintaining and sanitizing equipment; ensuring merchandise is properly stored; and promoting products and services.

The hourly wage range for this position is $20.00 to $28.00*
