Personal Care Worker Nights

About the Opportunity

To be the frontline person and advocate for a group of residents. You will take ownership of their wellbeing and care by maintaining a schedule of checking in to ensure they are comfortable and their needs have been addressed.

Working hours:

week 1: Tues & Thurs

week 2: Tues & Fri

o Problem solve and attend to gaps in resident needs where necessary by collaboratively supporting the care team to ensure ideal delivery of resident care and support.

o To be the day-to-day relationship link for families keeping them up to date with the care and wellbeing needs of the resident.

o Build strong and inclusive relationships by communicating effectively with residents families and staff team members.

About you

The successful candidate must demonstrate the following:

o Certificate IV in Aged Care or equivalent required

o Minimum of 12 months work experience as an PCW within residential aged care

o Strong and clear verbal communication skills

o Good care knowledge

o Strong customer service skills

o Knowledge of compliance requirements

o Good systems knowledge and IT skills

o All mandatory learning up to date

o Team coordination or coaching skills (desirable)

o Flexibility and reliability with a strong commitment to work!

o Ability to communicate effectively with residents families and all levels of staff

o Strong passion for working with the elderly
