Rate of Pay: 43.00 - 56.24 per hour
Summary:
Lead and manage a social work team to deliver high-quality consistent services that achieve the best outcomes for children young people and their families. Oversee practice ensure effective safeguarding and drive continuous improvement across the service.
Responsibilities:
Lead and manage a team of social workers ensuring high-quality practice
Allocate and manage caseloads effectively within agreed guidelines
Provide supervision support and performance management to staff
Oversee safeguarding and ensure decisions are in the best interests of children
Conduct audits and monitor quality of casework and service delivery
Qualifications:
Degree in Social Work (or equivalent)
Registered with Social Work England (formerly HCPC)
Evidence of continuous professional development (CPD)
Essential Requirements:
Extensive experience managing teams in a social care environment
Strong knowledge of legislation relating to children families and safeguarding
Experience handling complex cases with risk of harm
Proven ability to supervise mentor and develop staff
Strong communication leadership and decision-making skills

You should be available to work immediately or at a short notice.
You should have right to work in U.K
This role requires a Basic DBS
