Team Manager

We are working closely alongside with Wirral MBC to assist with the appointment of a Team Manager on a 3-month contract likely to be extended at clients discretion. Please apply with your CV for immediate consideration.

Rate of Pay: 43.00 - 56.24 per hour

Summary:

Lead and manage a social work team to deliver high-quality consistent services that achieve the best outcomes for children young people and their families. Oversee practice ensure effective safeguarding and drive continuous improvement across the service.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a team of social workers ensuring high-quality practice
• Allocate and manage caseloads effectively within agreed guidelines
• Provide supervision support and performance management to staff
• Oversee safeguarding and ensure decisions are in the best interests of children
• Conduct audits and monitor quality of casework and service delivery

Qualifications:

• Degree in Social Work (or equivalent)
• Registered with Social Work England (formerly HCPC)
• Evidence of continuous professional development (CPD)

Essential Requirements:

• Extensive experience managing teams in a social care environment
• Strong knowledge of legislation relating to children families and safeguarding
• Experience handling complex cases with risk of harm
• Proven ability to supervise mentor and develop staff
• Strong communication leadership and decision-making skills

• You should have right to work in U.K
• This role requires a Basic DBS
