Job Description Summary

Job Description

• Lead multiple nation-wide projects from concept to realization leading individuals from multiple departments and disciplines. Determine develop recommend and implement solutions of projects after performing significant engineering analyses inclusive of hypotheses validation.
• Review develop and partner with technological solution providers to analyze review and potentially implement enhanced solutions.
• Provide support and guidance indirectly to Operations Engineer I and Operations Engineer II positions.
• Provide software application expertise in Warehouse Management System(s) Labor Management System Transportation Management System Microsoft Access proficiency etc.
• Perform and deploy work measurement techniques including time and motion studies
• Support continuous improvement initiatives by standardizing processes and embedding best practices across operations.
• Collaborate crossfunctionally with Operations Engineering and other stakeholders to ensure solutions are practical and scalable

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Industrial Engineering or General Engineering.
• At least 3 years engineering experience.
• Demonstrated experience leading and delivering medium to largescale operational improvement projects.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate process analysis into executable solutions.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects of varying complexity in a dynamic environment.
• Capable of standing / walking all day within a warehousing environment.
• Demonstrated strength in process analysis and continuous improvement methodologies
• Proven project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
• Strong understanding of operational efficiency and labor optimization principles
• Advanced datadriven problemsolving and analytical capabilities
• Ability to provide coaching and technical guidance to support performance and development
• Distribution or warehousing experience.
• Willing to travel occasionally for business purposes (within Canada)
