Location: This is a fully on-site opportunity in Bedford Indiana where you will work closely with employees and plant leadership in a hands-on manufacturing environment.

Note: Must have 3 years of payroll processing experience permanent U.S. work authorization and the ability to work on-site in Bedford daily. Experience with an HRIS/payroll system is required and Paylocity experience is a plus.

Job Description

• Own biweekly payroll processing with a high level of accuracy timeliness and confidentiality
• Audit timecards process payroll changes and adjustments and respond to employee payroll questions
• Maintain employee records in the HRIS including job changes compensation updates status changes and PTO tracking
• Coordinate onboarding paperwork orientation support I-9 compliance and personnel file maintenance
• Assist with benefits administration employee questions and open enrollment support
• Help coordinate recruiting logistics such as interview scheduling background checks and candidate communication
• Serve as the primary HR operations contact for the Bedford facility and support employees and supervisors with day-to-day HR needs
• Maintain HR and safety documentation including training records OSHA-related documentation and audit support
• Partner with site leadership and broader HR leadership to keep processes organized compliant and running smoothly

Qualifications

• 3 years of payroll processing experience
• Experience using an HRIS or payroll platform
• Paylocity experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to handle confidential information professionally
• Solid understanding of basic HR operations including onboarding and employee support
• Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment
• Strong organization communication and follow-through
• Associates or Bachelors degree preferred
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office
