Pay: $90000.00 - $110000.00 per year

Location: This is an in-person full-time role based in Uniondale NY offering you a great opportunity to immerse yourself in personal injury and no-fault arbitration law.

Note: Must be an admitted attorney to practice law in New York with prior litigation experience. Ideal candidates will have an interest in personal injury law and no-fault arbitration.

Job Description

• Represent clients in no-fault arbitration and personal injury litigation matters
• Draft pleadings motions and other legal documents for court filings
• Assist in discovery including gathering evidence preparing witnesses and managing case files
• Prepare for hearings mediations and trials by organizing legal research and evidence
• Maintain consistent communication with clients opposing counsel and courts
• Attend hearings and trials to support senior attorneys
• Manage case files ensuring all documents and deadlines are tracked and met
• Work closely with senior attorneys to strategize and execute case plans

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
• Must be admitted to practice law in New York
• Prior litigation experience preferred (internships or clerkships count)
• Strong research writing and oral communication skills
• Highly organized and detail-oriented able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
• Strong work ethic and eagerness to learn and grow within the firm
