Job Title: Front Desk Receptionist Location: Lake Mohawk Golf Club Schedule: Approximately 30 hours per week
Position Overview: The Front Desk Receptionist serves as the first point of contact for members guests and visitors providing a welcoming and professional experience. This role requires strong interpersonal skills attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced private club environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet members guests and vendors warmly upon arrival and provide assistance as needed.
Answer incoming calls promptly professionally and direct them appropriately.
Manage member check-ins reservations and guest registrations accurately.
Handle incoming and outgoing mail deliveries and messages.
Maintain the appearance and organization of the front desk and lobby areas.
Assist with administrative tasks such as filing data entry and correspondence.
Coordinate with club staff to ensure smooth operations and seamless member experiences.
Prepare and update menus ensuring they are typed accurately formatted consistently and ready for distribution.
Provide information on club amenities events and policies.
Uphold confidentiality and discretion in all interactions with members and staff.
Other duties as assigned by manager.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications a plus.
Previous customer service or receptionist experience preferred preferably in hospitality private clubs or a similar setting.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Proficiency with computers Microsoft Office and club management software preferred.
Professional appearance and demeanor.
Ability to work flexible hours including weekends as needed.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to sit or stand for extended periods.
Occasional light lifting (up to 25 lbs).
