Home Infusion Billing Specialist

Job Summary

We are hiring a Home Infusion Reimbursement Coordinator (Remote USA) to support high-volume home infusion billing accounts receivable (AR) and insurance reimbursement operations. This is a high-priority RCM role focused on payor collections claims resolution and accurate billing compliance using systems such as Brightree.

You will play a key role in ensuring timely reimbursement for home infusion services while maintaining compliance with HIPAA regulations and payer requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end home infusion billing and reimbursement workflows
• Handle accounts receivable (AR) and payor collections (not patient collections)
• Resolve complex insurance claims denials and billing issues
• Ensure accurate documentation and HIPAA-compliant processes
• Work in Brightree and Microsoft Excel/Word for billing and reporting
• Collaborate with internal RCM clinical and sales teams to improve revenue cycle performance
• Stay current on payer rules billing updates and reimbursement regulations

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of home infusion billing experience (required)
• Minimum 2 years of home infusion reimbursement / AR experience
• Experience with HIPAA compliance (2 years)
• Strong experience in front-end billing and payor collections
• Proficiency in Brightree (strongly preferred/important)
• Skilled in Microsoft Excel and Word
• High school diploma required (or equivalent experience)

Preferred Skills

• Strong understanding of RCM workflows and billing procedures
• Proven ability to meet or exceed performance metrics
• Critical thinking ownership mindset and strong problem-solving skills
• Experience in high-volume infusion or specialty pharmacy environments

Important Notes

• This role is 100% remote (U.S. only no time zone restriction)
• Compensation: Up to $25/hour (firm rate)
• Candidates without true home infusion billing experience will not be considered
• Ideal candidates often come from CVS Health Quorum or similar infusion organizations
• Strong preference for Brightree-experienced billing professionals
