Description of Work

The Lead Case Management Specialist provides advanced administrative and operational support within the Case Management unit by coordinating daily workflow reviewing case materials and ensuring the timely completion of assigned tasks. This position oversees the processing of investigative and autopsy documentation monitors workload metrics and helps maintain procedures consistent with program and accreditation standards. It supports staff by reviewing work for accuracy analyzing trends and contributing to process improvements that enhance efficiency and service quality.

The role also assists with financial documentation including billing review and reconciliation and serves as a primary contact for related inquiries. The position operates within defined procedural guidelines and contributes to the effective functioning of case management operations across the organization.

Key Duties Include:
- Oversee daily case management workflow to ensure timely and accurate completion of case processing tasks.

- Review case files reports and supporting documentation for accuracy completeness and alignment with established standards.

- Track workload statistics performance metrics and error trends to support staff development and operational improvements.

- Conduct case audits and document findings to support quality assurance and compliance with program expectations.

- Manage the processing of investigative and autopsy documentation including coordination of State and County billing and payment reconciliation.

- Serve as a primary point of contact for billing inquiries documentation clarification and caserelated information requests.

- Support the implementation of new case management systems by assisting with training data review and operational adjustments.

- Collaborate with supervisory staff to maintain and update procedures that support consistent and compliant case management operations.

- Provide guidance and functional support to case management staff during daily operations and periods of high caseload.

- Contribute to process improvements by identifying gaps evaluating workflow issues and recommending actionable solutions.

Salary Range: $41206.00 - $72113.00

Recruitment Range: $41206.00 - $52875.00

  • Demonstrated experience reviewing complex case files and investigative or medical documentation with expert-level accuracy to identify discrepancies and ensure adherence to established standards.

  • Proven skill using case management or documentation systems to track workload data monitor performance metrics and complete multi-step administrative processes with consistency.

  • Advanced proficiency coordinating billing-related tasks including reconciling payments validating invoice details and resolving discrepancies using organized data-driven methods.

  • Demonstrated success supporting a team environment by guiding daily workflow providing constructive feedback and contributing to system implementation or process improvements.

  • Effective communication experience delivering clear guidance to staff partner agencies or stakeholders regarding case documentation requirements procedural updates or operational expectations.
