Registered Nurse (RN) - Ambulatory Care Location: Berwyn PA Type: Contract to perm
Position Summary
Prosperity is seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Ambulatory Care Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dynamic outpatient team. The RN will provide high-quality patient-centered care in a fast-paced primary care setting supporting physicians and advanced practice providers while promoting optimal patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver direct nursing care to patients in an ambulatory/primary care setting
Perform patient assessments including vital signs health histories and symptom evaluation
Administer medications vaccines and treatments in accordance with provider orders and clinical protocols
Assist with minor procedures and exams
Provide patient education on disease management medications preventive care and wellness
Coordinate care including referrals follow-ups and communication with interdisciplinary teams
Manage patient triage (in-person and telephone) prioritizing care based on clinical needs
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR)
Ensure compliance with infection control safety standards and regulatory requirements
Support quality improvement initiatives and patient satisfaction goals
Qualifications
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Pennsylvania
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
Minimum 12 years of nursing experience; ambulatory care primary care or outpatient experience strongly preferred
Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a team-based environment
Proficiency with EMR systems
