Your Role

As a Speech-Language Pathologist at Bear Creek Senior Living you will:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to diagnose speech language cognitive and swallowing disorders
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each residents needs and goals
  • Provide therapy interventions including compensatory techniques therapeutic exercises and alternative communication strategies
  • Educate residents families and staff on communication and swallowing management strategies
  • Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure coordinated resident-centered care
  • Monitor resident progress adjust treatment plans as appropriate and document outcomes
  • Maintain accurate timely documentation in compliance with regulatory and facility requirements
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and support the overall success of the rehabilitation department

Qualifications

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program (required)
  • Current and valid Speech-Language Pathologist license in the state of Colorado (required)
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
  • Experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of an interdisciplinary team

Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act

Pursuant to the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act the expected compensation range for this position is $44.00 $47.00 per hour. Actual compensation may vary based on experience education and other relevant factors.

This position is eligible for the following benefits: medical dental and vision insurance; paid time off and paid holidays; 401(k) retirement plan with company match; company-sponsored training development and tuition reimbursement; employee meal program; and additional voluntary benefits. Benefit eligibility may vary based on employment status and hours worked.
