Boeing Defense Space and Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for an Associate Quality Systems Specialist to support the Boeing St. Louis Operations Surveillance Team in Berkeley MO.

As a member of the Operation Core Quality Surveillance Team you will work in a collaborative team environment with Operations Quality multiple levels of Boeing Management and our customers to ensure compliance with Boeing policies and procedures.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Generate and drive schedule surveillance activity across the region reviews proposals contracts regulatory program and customer requirements ensuring early quality involvement in program development
  • Prepares and maintains Quality directives policies processes procedures and metrics to assure program contract customer regulatory requirements international standards and working agreements are deployed
  • Analyzes process data metrics models and flows to identify root cause of problems
  • Participates with stakeholders to develop potential preventive or corrective actions and implementation
  • Conducts research compiles and analyzes performance reports and process control statistics to continuously improve process capability
  • Conducts hardware software and system level audits to determine compliance with quality management system standards configuration assurance related business regulatory and customer requirements and reports results to management
  • Works under general direction

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 1 years of experience working in or supporting a manufacturing environment
  • 1 years of experience using all the following Microsoft Office Applications (Word Excel and PowerPoint)
  • 1 year of experience analyzing data creating reports and presenting results
  • 1 year of experience conducting audits inspections investigations and coordinating resolution of issues

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelors degree
  • Experience developing and delivering presentations to senior leaders
  • Experience developing or auditing standard work
  • Experience implementing safety improvements in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience with Continuous Improvement Implementation
  • Experience in a highly regulated environment (compliance)

Travel:

Position may require travel up to 10% of the time.
