- Hours: 12 Hours per Shift (7:00 PM 7:00 AM)
- Schedule: 3 Days per Week
- On-Call: Not Required
Job Overview
Navitas Healthcare LLC isseeking a skilled Med/Surg Step-Down Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality care to adult and geriatric patients in an acute care setting. This role requires experience in step-down or telemetry units and the ability to manage multiple patients effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide patient care in a step-down/telemetry unit
- Monitor and assess adult and geriatric patients
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Manage patient care for up to 6 patients per shift
- Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond to changes in condition
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure optimal outcomes
- Maintain accurate documentation in EMR systems
Patient Population & Ratio
- Population: Adult & Geriatric
- Nurse-to-Patient Ratio: 1:6
Required Qualifications
- Active RN License
- Minimum 12 years of Step-Down/Telemetry experience
- Certifications Required:
- BLS
- ACLS
- NIHSS
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in acute care hospital settings
- Strong telemetry and patient monitoring skills
