The Finance Compensation Analyst is responsible for ensuring accurate commission and customer rebate calculations by leveraging enterprise operating systems and maintaining appropriate agreements for all commission and rebate setups. This role oversees the daily processing of commission calculations validates subsystem results and ensures alignment with organizational policies financial controls and strategic objectives. This position is based in Glenwood MN with hybrid options available.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
Complete validations and daily system processes to populate commission results from our commission subsystem to the General Ledger/ERP system.
Analyze daily data results from commission sub-module identify and correct miscalculations or inaccuracies; maintain related reports and system applications
Prepare and process manual commission entries as required
Implement update and maintain all rebate and gross profit (GP) split agreements ensuring appropriate approvals signatures are electronic filing
Partner with sales associates to determine optimal commission or rebate structures to support business needs; initiate and maintain agreements for non-standard GP or rebate splits outside the standard commission model outlined in work agreements.
Assist SalesOperation Support (SOS) and ACES with analysis and system capabilities to determine customer rebate options including rebate setup reporting payments and agreement documentation
Administer commission setup maintenance and deactivation related to onboarding new Sales Associates and separation of existing Associates.
Maintain and provide reporting related to Sales Associate acquisition payments
Provide secondary support to Sales Associates and home office personnel by responding to inquiries related to commissions expenses ledgers payroll operating expense statements other commission-related matters; prepare financial reports as requested needed.
Assist with testingand validation of commission system enhancements and other finance-related projects
Manage daily weekly monthly and ad-hoc tasks related to commission and rebate reporting calculations payments and setup; tracked through MS Outlook calendar reminders.
Other duties may be assigned

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Required: High School diploma or the equivalent with five years experience in business accounting and/or finance or equivalent combination of education and experience. Preferred: Associate degree in accounting with a minimum of one-year related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
This position requires a working knowledge of accounting principles and practices and a knowledge of technical accounting skills.
