POSITION OVERVIEW:

Maintain the facility in a clean orderly and safe condition. Perform routine custodial and basic maintenance tasks along with other assigned duties to support the effective operation of the building.

• Perform routine cleaning duties including sweeping mopping vacuuming and dusting interior spaces
• Clean and sanitize restrooms and other common areas
• Remove trash and recyclables and ensure proper disposal
• Clean and maintain entryways lobbies sidewalks and other exterior areas
• Maintain grounds as needed including mowing trimming weeding and snow removal
• Monitor and restock cleaning supplies; notify supervisor when inventory is low
• Report maintenance repair or safety concerns promptly to the Corps Officer
• Follow all safety procedures and proper use of cleaning products and equipment
• Maintain the overall appearance and basic functionality of the facility and grounds
• Assist with basic setup or cleanup for corps activities or events as needed
• Attend staff meetings as requested
• Perform other duties as assigned within the scope of the position

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• One year of related custodial maintenance or cleaning experience preferred.

SKILLS AND COMPETENICIES

• Able to manage schedule and work independently to complete assigned tasks
• Basic knowledge of cleaning methods materials and equipment
• Ability to follow instructions and maintain attention to detail
• Reliable and consistent attendance
• Ability to communicate basic needs or concerns to supervisor
