Job Summary

About the Role

Were looking for a commercially driven Mid-Market Account Manager to own and grow a portfolio of customers across the mid-market segment. Youll act as the primary point of contact managing the full sales cyclefrom identifying new opportunities through to closing deals and driving long-term customer value.

This is a highly consultative role where success comes from understanding customer challenges and positioning solutions that deliver measurable impact. If you bring a technical or engineering background and enjoy translating complex solutions into business value youll thrive here.

What Youll Be Doing

Own and grow your accounts

  • Manage and expand a portfolio of mid-market customers (typically $100M$1B revenue range)
  • Drive upsell cross-sell and renewal opportunities to maximise account value
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders across technical business and executive levels

Drive new business

  • Identify qualify and close new opportunities across your territory
  • Run discovery sessions and deliver compelling product demonstrations
  • Maintain a healthy pipeline and consistently achieve or exceed sales targets

Deliver a great customer experience

  • Act as a trusted advisor throughout the customer lifecycle
  • Ensure successful onboarding and adoption of solutions
  • Maintain high customer satisfaction and long-term retention

Collaborate and lead

  • Work within a virtual account team to deliver the best outcomes for customers
  • Share insights mentor peers and contribute to team success

What Were Looking For

Experience

  • Proven success in B2B sales (3 years) ideally in SaaS analytics or technology
  • Track record of hitting or exceeding sales quotas
  • Experience managing mid-market or complex accounts

Skills & capabilities

  • Strong consultative selling and negotiation skills
  • Ability to manage multiple opportunities and priorities effectively
  • Confident presenting to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills

Background

  • Degree in Engineering STEM or a related technical field is highly desirable
  • Experience in analytics data or business intelligence solutions is a plus

  • Hybrid working model based in Sydney
