Job Type:Full-Time (MondayFriday 7:00 AM 4:00 PM)

Position Summary

We are looking forareliable and hardworkingLabourer / Equipment Operatorto join ourLangley Yardteam in support of bridge and infrastructure construction. This role involvesassistingwith a variety of on-site tasks includingpreparation of job loadout/offload equipment maintenance and generallabour to ensure workflow. The safe operation offorklifts and other mobile equipmentis.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform general physical labor including lifting carrying materials and supporting daily site activities.

• Operate forklifts and other mobile equipment (e.g. telehandlers skid steers loaders) to move materials safely and efficiently aroundthe yard.

• Assistwith loading and unloading deliveries and staging materials for crews.

• Conduct pre-operational equipment inspections and report any issues or maintenance needs.

• Follow all safety procedures and site protocols whenoperatingequipment and performing labor tasks.

• Maintain attention to detail to ensure high-quality work.

• Follow instructions and work effectively under supervision or as part of a team.

• Maintain a reliable and punctual presence with a strong work ethic.
  
  

Requirements:

• Previous construction and/or bridge experience

• Valid forklift or mobile equipment operator certification/experience.

• Valid class 5 drivers license with clean abstract

• Reliable transportation
• A valid First Aid ticket would be an asset

Working Conditions

• Outdoor work on bridge decks and in Yard under various weather conditions.

• Operation of mobile equipment inactive constructionenvironment.

• Employeesare required tosupply their own work boots and hardhat; specialized PPE will be provided.
  
  

Compensation

• $25to $35per hour (based on experience andqualifications).
