14052Job Purpose:Assist individuals with brain injury intellectual disabilities and other neurological disabilities in achieving a challenging stimulating dignified life by serving as an advocate and liaison for and on behalf of individuals rights and Functions:Provide supervision training and assistance in accomplishing activities of daily living which includes but is not limited to self-care skills social skills recreation skills community skills and domestic skills for a 64 year old Wanted: Newly retired professional woman with a physical disability sseeking assistance and companionship to maintain her independence pursue her interests and ssupport her community connections. Part-time positions available for several include:GenealogyPreserving/Cataloging old photosTheater/Arts/LiteratureWritingGardeningCookingTraveling/ExploringMUSTS:Valid Drivers LicenseBe comfortable handling cats (Must NOT be allergic to cats)Be able to make at least a 9-month commitmentPLUSES:Have a flexible weekday scheduleBe available to work Saturdays & SundaysBe a year-round Rochester-area residentBe able to make a longer commitment (18 months to 2 years)Have a college degreeAlready onboarded with PPL and/or EPI5-7-Hour Shifts to Be Shared by a Few Assistants:Monday Tuesday Wednesday Thursday between 8:30am and 4pm.
