Boothby Therapy Services is hiring a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a school-based position in Kingston Massachusetts. This role supports a preschool classroom primarily serving 3-year-old students with developmental delays.

We welcome both experienced SLPs and Clinical Fellows (CF-SLP / CFY) who are passionate about early intervention preschool populations and school-based therapy.

• Pay Rate: $55$65/hour (guaranteed pay for scheduled time even if student sessions are missed)

Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Responsibilities

• Provide school-based speech-language therapy services to preschool students
• Conduct speech and language evaluations and early childhood assessments
• Develop and implement Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals and services
• Deliver direct therapy services (individual and small group sessions)
• Support students with:
  • Early language development (receptive and expressive language)
  • Play-based communication skills
  • Social/pragmatic communication
  • Articulation and early speech sound development
• Use play-based and developmentally appropriate therapy approaches
• Collaborate with teachers special education staff occupational therapists (OTs) and physical therapists (PTs)
• Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
• Maintain accurate documentation progress notes and compliance records
• Communicate regularly with families and caregivers

Qualifications

• Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• CCC-SLP or eligibility as a Clinical Fellow (CF-SLP)
• Active Massachusetts SLP license (or eligibility)
• DESE Educator License (Speech Language & Hearing Disorders) or eligibility
• Experience or interest in early childhood preschool pediatrics or school-based therapy preferred
• Strong communication organization and collaboration skills
