Job Overview

Pulse is currently seeking an experienced Paediatric Audiologist to support NHS paediatric audiology services in Lincoln. This role is ideal for a clinician with strong expertise in paediatric audiometry for children under 5 years working in line with NHS processes and standards. The post offers the opportunity to work within complex paediatric testing environments as part of a supportive multidisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver paediatric audiological assessments for children under 5 years.
• Perform VRA otoacoustic emissions and tympanometry in line with NHS protocols.
• Assess manage and follow up paediatric patients with hearing difficulties.
• Maintain accurate timely clinical records.
• Work collaboratively within paediatric audiology and MDT services.

Qualifications and Experience

• Degree in Audiology or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum 2 years experience in paediatric audiometry (essential).
• Experience with VRA OAE and tympanometry for under5s within the NHS.
• Minimum 3 years NHS experience (desirable).
• Experience in paediatric hearing aid assessment and fitting (desirable).
• Experience acting as a Lead Audiologist in complex paediatric settings (desirable).
• Strong clinical judgement communication and organisational skills.
