SUMMER CAMP SITE DIRECTOR - AlphaBEST Education

Location(s): Hillsboro Oregon

Pay: $24.00-$27.00

Hours: M-F 7:00 am - 6:00 pm (hours may vary depending on site)

AlphaBEST Education provides extended-day summer and enrichment programs designed to inspire and engage students as they discover and learn beyond the school day in a fun safe environment.

As an AlphaBEST Site Director youll lead a meaningful summer camp program that helps kids learn grow and thrive while creating memories that will last a lifetime!

Were looking for an early learning professional who:

• Enjoys working with children in a structured high-energy environment
• Feels confident taking the lead and running a smooth program
• Takes pride in delivering a high-quality student and family experience
• Takes child safety seriously and follows procedures closely
• Is flexible reliable and ready to jump in wherever needed

In this role you will:

• Manage the day-to-day operations of the site: schedules ratios staffing and documentation
• Oversee/facilitate curriculum implementation and ensure activities meet program expectations
• Build a safe and inclusive environment aligned with licensing requirements and AlphaBEST standards
• Make child safety the top priority at all times
• Maintain licensing compliance documentation and readiness for inspections
• Track and manage site resources attendance and food program requirements
• Supervise and mentor your site team providing coaching and feedback and ensuring training requirements are met
• Represent AlphaBEST with professionalism at school and community events
• Build strong relationships with families school staff and AlphaBEST leadership to support student success

Requirements:

• CPR and First Aid certification required
• Demonstrated experience in team leadership and supervision preferred
• Ability to work in a classroom setting with regular bending and lifting (up to 25 pounds)
• Must have a Bachelors degree (in a related field) or equivalent experience ( 3 years)
• Must be at least 21 years old
• Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet program staffing needs
• Must be able to successfully complete a background check as required by Oregon childcare licensing regulations (CBR #)
• Provide proof of experience as required by OR childcare licensing standards
