Job Summary
Position Overview
We are seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to support both FP&A and Finance Operations within a collaborative highperforming finance team. This role plays a key part in ensuringaccuratetimely and compliant financial reporting while supporting the monthend close process and periodic forecasting activities.
The Senior Financial Analyst works closely with internal finance partners crossfunctional stakeholders across the organization and external addition the role supports selected activities for the Manager Finance Operations providing meaningful exposure to core finance processes increased responsibility and strong opportunities for professional growth.
Responsibilities
Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)
Lead arealevel financial planning and analysis including annual budgeting rolling forecasts and longrange planning in close partnership with business stakeholders.
Analyze monthly financial performance versus budget forecast and prior periodsidentifyingkey drivers trends risks and opportunities.
Prepare and deliver management reporting packages dashboards and KPIs providing clear and actionable insights to support strategic decisionmaking.
Conduct adhoc financial analysis scenario modeling and profitability assessments to support business initiatives and investments.
Partner with operational teams to understand cost drivers productivity metrics and margin performance translating business activity intofinancial impact.
MonthEnd Close & SAP Financial Reporting
Play a key role in the monthend quarterend and yearend close process within SAP S/4HANA ensuringtimelyaccurate and complete financial results.
Prepare review and analyze journal entries accruals and adjustmentsin accordance withaccounting policies and ICFR requirements.
Perform balance sheet and P&L account reconciliations investigate variances and resolve discrepancies in collaboration withaccounting.
Ensure financial data integrity within SAP including theaccurateuse of GL accounts cost centers and profit centers.
Coordinate with Accounting and shared services teams to meet close timelines and support internal and external reporting requirements.
Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable Monitoring
Monitor Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable balances to ensuretimelyprocessingaccurateposting and proper classification.
Review aging reportsidentifypastdue items and work with crossfunctional teams to resolve issuesimpactingcash flow and working capital.
Analyze trends in payables receivables and cash conversion metrics providing insights and recommendations to management.
Support the monthend close by ensuring AP and AR subledger activity is completeaccurate and reconciled to the general ledger.
Identifyprocess inefficiencies and recommend improvements to strengthen controls reporting quality and operational effectiveness.
Qualifications
Education
CPA or CPA (in progress) preferred
Bachelors degree in finance Accounting Business Administration or Data Analysis
Experience
6 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing environment
Handson experience with SAP (S/4HANA preferred)
