We are seeking a Inside Sales Engineer / Sales Associate to join a leading industrial equipment reseller specializing in metalworking fabrication and manufacturing machinery in New Jersey.

This role involves prospecting building relationships with new and existing customers and leveraging your technical background to manage industrial machinery sales.

This position is ideal for recent graduates seeking a long-term career in sales and manufacturing or for candidates with a strong background in manufacturing sheet metal fabrication industrial equipment or metalworking who want to apply their expertise in a customer-focused role.

Inside Sales Engineer / Sales Associate Responsibilities

• Respond to customer inquiries and manage sales calls with professionalism and technical insight.
• Build and nurture long-term relationships with customers through phone email and Microsoft Teams.
• Take full ownership of projects from initial contact to successful sale ensuring customer satisfaction throughout.
• Collaborate closely with engineering and sales teams to recommend the right machinery solutions.
• Track and manage sales activities and project progress providing regular updates to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Identify new business opportunities follow up on leads and contribute to the growth of the companys sales pipeline while developing your career in industrial equipment sales.

Inside Sales Engineer / Sales Associate Requirements

• Bachelors degree in engineering manufacturing business or a related field is preferred but not required.
• Must be commutable to Newark New Jersey.
• Strong interest in industrial machinery manufacturing fabrication or metalworking.
• Excellent communication interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
• Motivated to grow in a long-term career in sales and industrial equipment.
• Valid drivers license.
