Position Overview:
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to provide comprehensive patient care within a secure correctional environment. This role involves direct clinical care emergency response and maintaining accurate medical documentation while adhering to all facility policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct sick calls and triage patient concerns
Administer medications including insulin
Respond to medical emergencies (e.g. Narcan administration asthma attacks injury care)
Maintain and update patient health records and reports
Complete incident reporting for injuries and critical events
Perform health screenings and coordinate care as needed
Support administrative and compliance-related functions
Requirements:
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license State of New York (Required)
