Department/Position Overview: This unit cares for patients with cancer in an inpatient 36 bed Intermediate Care Unit. We are hiring compassionate RNs to monitor physical conditions prescribe medication and administer chemotherapy and other care that we deliver is dynamic! Our care includes but is not limited to:
Chemotherapy
Hospice
Radiation
Stem Cell Transplants / CAR-T
Radioactive Iodine
Symptom Management
SNGH 6RP Oncology Unit Video: Bachelors Masters or diploma in the Nursing Field required
Certification/Licensure
Virginia or Compact Multi-State License in good standing
Basic Life Support (BLS)
ACLS
NIH Stroke Scale
Experience
Must have 2 or more years of recent acute care hospital RN experience
