Business Overview
The Regional Loan Syndications group originates and executes club syndicated bank loans for Commercial Banking clients and prospects. The team partners closely with the Commercial Bank Wholesale Credit Regional Leverage Finance and Emerging Growth and Regional Coverage to drive new Bank of America led syndicated loans and corresponding ancillary business.
Perform financial and statistical analyses conduct research and prepare support documentation and client presentation materials. Works under direction of more senior associates.
Responsibilities
- Perform financial and statistical analysis
- Conduct research and prepare support documentation and client presentation material
- Development/Maintenance of Regional Loan Syndication comparative transactions
- Assist with quarterly/periodic data reporting and analysis
- Preparation of quarterly business updates
- Assist with logistical and operational tasks associated with lender meetings and loan closings
- Works under the direction of more senior associates
Skills
- Minimum of 2 years of Commercial Credit Banking experience required
- Demonstrates initiative/self-motivation
- Possesses strong interpersonal skills
- Possesses strong analytical and modeling skills
- Possesses understanding of corporate financial statements
- Possesses understanding of financial covenants and basic structuring; familiar with credit agreements
- Demonstrates strong critical thinking
- Demonstrates the ability to independently make decisions
- Licensing required Series 79 & 63 (will support the employee through registration process if needed)
Educational Requirements
- Undergraduate degree required. Accounting Finance or equivalent experience
