Facilities Plant Maintenance Specialist Experienced

Boeing Global Services (BGS) is looking for an Experienced Facilities Plant Maintenance Specialist to join our team in Hertford NC.

Position Responsibilities:

• General knowledge of building codes regulations and safety procedures
• With limited supervision constructs commercial office space by providing overall construction capabilities
• Is familiar with building codes and is able to read more complex blueprints
• Responds to trouble calls and resolves a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity
• Repairs and maintains plant and office facilities equipment and demonstrates advanced skill level in these areas
• Is able to interpret basic schematics and diagrams
• May provide guidance to less experienced employees
• Under general guidance reviews customer requirements and may evaluate product capabilities
• Has demonstrated ability to use a variety of hand and power tools to construct renovate and repair facilities and equipment
• May receive specialized equipment training
• May provide training to peers and/or customers on the general use of equipment

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• 5 years experience with Customer Service
• 3 years experience with Facilities Maintenance or Construction
• Current valid drivers license
• Capable of lifting 35lbs on a frequent basis
• Current North Carolina approved electrical license for residential and commercial power systems (OR) Current North Carolina approved HVAC license for residential and commercial HVAC systems

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• Experience using Microsoft Office tools
• Welding experience
