As ambassador chef to the Art Gallery of NSW Matt has developed a great concept specifically for the Art Gallery Restaurant. His love for quality seasonal and locally sourced produce is the driving force of this food story.

The Role
- Status: Casual position (Grade 5 Level 6).
- Roster: Primarily Wednesday to Friday shifts (Day and Night availability required).
- Quality: Preparing exceptionally presented dishes consistent in flavour and appearance.
- Ownership: Run the section or sections allocated.
- Efficiency: Ensure food is served at agreed quality and speed of service.
- Support: Assist with functions and manage the kitchen in the absence of the Sous/Head Chef.
- Compliance: Follow all food safety procedures and legislation.
About You
- Commitment: Prepared to make a minimum 2-year commitment to the team.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years experience in a similar role within a quality busy restaurant.
- Motivation: A motivated chef with a passion for creating excellent dishes.
- Qualifications: Ideally certified in Commercial Cookery.
- Attributes: Punctual self-driven and autonomous with excellent attention to detail.
- Availability: Ready to start by 11 May 2026.
