Our internship program offers practical corporate work experience that could lead to full-time work after graduation. We are seeking students going into their senior year graduating in the spring of 2027.

The shift is from 9 am to 5 pm 40 hours per week starting in June and ending in August. This is a hybrid position in Greensboro NC that pays $20 per hour.

Section 1: Position Summary

The Bank-Owned Life Insurance (BOLI) Intern works closely with team members to support the BOLI team in delivering highquality operational analytical and administrative support for intern will gain insight intoBOLI products carriernuances and policy lifecycletrends exposure tofinancialreportingand regulatory considerations and handson experience with enterprise systemsandreporting tools. This role is designed for a student interested in financial services insurance products data analysis or risk/benefits administration

Section 2: Job Functions Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Work in professional office environment up to 4 days per week to collaborate with leaders to help meet client objectives.
• Assistwith the preparation and quality review ofBOLIreporting ensuring accuracy which includes developing an understanding of currentdata validationprocesses to support policy administration and reporting accuracy.

• Helpmaintaininternal tracking tools and databases.

• Support thepolicy administration team with client updates and project needs.

• Collaborate with cross functional internal teams.

• Participate in special projects including Salesforce and other operational initiatives.

• Help standardize client presentations ensuring materials are consistent professional and aligned with team and company standards

• Assist with AI initiatives to support innovation within the team.

• Responsible for protecting securing and proper handling of all confidential data held by Ascensus to ensure against unauthorized access improper transmission and/or unapproved disclosure of information that could result in harm to Ascensus or our clients.

Section 3: Experience Skills Knowledge Requirements

• Current enrollment in a Bachelors orMastersprogram inEconomics BusinessMathFinance Accounting Risk Management Economics Data Analytics ora relatedfield.
• Curiosity willingness to learn and ability to work collaboratively.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiencyin Microsoft products including Excel and PowerPoint.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to handle sensitive information with integrity.
