Job Summary
Regions Hospital is seeking a professional with prior utilization review experience tojoin our Utilization Management department in a Coordinator role.
This position provides analysis of patient records to determine the legitimacy of admission the appropriate level of care treatment and length of stay to comply with government and insurance company reimbursement policies. Communicates patient care status to the commercial and government payers as assigned.
Work Schedule:
Monday through Friday
0700-1530
Required Qualifications:
Associates degree in a healthcare related field -Or- 4 years experience in healthcare related field may substitute for degree.
3 years withquality and/or utilization review billing prior authorization or financial counseling
