Qualications:
Education/Certication:
High school diploma or GED
Special Knowledge/Skills:
Procient skills in keyboarding data entry word processing and electronic le maintenance Ability to use software to develop spreadsheets and databases and do word processing Ability to prioritize workow to address the multiple needs of the supervisor or the department Ability to multi-task numerous complex administrative activities
Basic math skills
Eective communication and interpersonal skills
Experience:
2 years secretarial experience and/or experience in Special Education (preferred)
Major Responsibilities and Duties:
Records Reports and Correspondence
Prepare correspondence forms and reports for the department head and other department sta
Compile maintain and le all reports records and other documents electronically as
Compile and crosscheck reports in Infinite Campus X-LOGS and Frontline
Maintain inventory of oce supplies and program
Schedules or assists ARD meetings and notifies parents of ARD meeting including distribution of ARD calendar to appropriate ARD member(s).
Other
Answer and respond to incoming calls take reliable messages and route to appropriate sta.
Maintain the ARD schedule for all campuses including but not limited to initial or rescheduled ARD meetings or other meetings.
Make meeting arrangements for department activities including preparing materials schedule and setting up facilities and arranging equipment (as needed).
Receive sort and distribute mail and other documents to department
Tools/EquipmentUsed: Standard oce equipment including personal computer and peripherals
Posture: Prolonged sitting; occasional bending/stooping pushing/pulling and twisting
Motion: Repetitive hand motions including frequent keyboarding and use of mouse; occasional reaching
