About the role

St Vincents Private Hospital Sydney is seeking an experienced and valuesdriven Learning & Development Manager to lead strategic workforce planning education delivery and capability development across our hospital.

This pivotal leadership role is responsible for shaping and delivering innovative workforce learning and development strategies that support safe highquality patientcentred care. Working closely with clinical leaders education teams and external partners you will ensure our workforce is skilled engaged and futureready in a rapidly evolving healthcare environment. This role ensures the workforce career and training pathways are flexible to the everchanging and evolving healthcare environment and ensures that SVPHS is an innovative leader in the industry. This role will also oversee the recruitment and integration of New Graduate Programs and TSP Program.

  • Leading the development and delivery of hospital wide learning and development strategies
  • Identifying current and future workforce capability needs and translating these into targeted programs
  • Embedding evidence-based education professional development and leadership initiatives
  • Supporting continuous improvements compliance and accreditation outcomes

About you

  • High level knowledge of National Accreditation Standards and Professional Standards
  • Roster and resource management experience
  • Communication & Interpersonal Skills: Crucial for delivering training mentoring and collaborating with staff.
  • Using feedback and performance data to identify skill gaps and evaluate training effectiveness.
  • Proficiency in digital technology for e-learning and management systems.
