Salary: Up to 44500.00 per year
(depending on level of experience training and qualification)

The Meriden Hospital in Coventry is part of Circle Health Group Britains leading provider of independent healthcare with a nationwide network of hospitals & clinics performing more complex surgery than any other private healthcare provider in the country.

We have an opportunity for a Cardiac Physiologist to join their team of staff in theCardiology department.

This is a full time role for 37.5 hours a week. The role holder will be required tocover a flexible shift pattern.

Duties of this role include:

  • Perform and interpret a wide range of non-invasive cardiac investigations including resting ECGs Holter monitoring event recorders and blood pressure monitoring.
  • Carry out and report on exercise tolerance tests (ETTs) tilt table testing and other functional assessments.
  • Assist in cardiac catheterisation procedures including angiograms angioplasties and right heart studies.
  • Monitor and record intra-cardiac pressures and waveforms during diagnostic and interventional procedures.
  • Conduct pacemaker ICD and CRT device checks and follow-ups in accordance with current guidelines.
  • Analyse device data and provide expert interpretation to guide clinical decisions.

Applicants should meet the following criteria:

  • Current knowledge of a range of clinical specialties and developments in clinical practice.
  • Experience of customer care including interacting with customers in challenging situations.
  • A degree in Clinical physiology or equivalent / ONC / BTEC in physiological measurement and medical physics.
  • Device or Echocardiography accreditation (BHRS/BHRE/BSE)
