Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Rehabilitation / Med-Surg / Emergency Department

Job Overview
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join a dynamic acute care team. This role offers placement in Rehabilitation Med/Surg or Emergency Department (ED) based on experience. The ideal candidate is adaptable detail-oriented and committed to delivering high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care under RN/physician supervision
- Monitor vital signs and perform patient assessments
- Administer medications and injections as directed
- Assist with exams and procedures (e.g. injections minor treatments)
- Prepare exam rooms equipment and medical supplies
- Observe and report changes in patient condition
- Maintain accurate documentation in EMR systems
- Support patient flow including rooming and preparation for evaluation
- Coordinate with healthcare teams for comprehensive care delivery
- Assist with scheduling chart preparation and unit operations
- Ensure a clean safe and organized clinical environment
Required Qualifications
- Active New York State LPN License
- Minimum 1 year of LPN experience
- Current CPR Certification (or ability to obtain)
- Strong communication and organizational skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior inpatient or acute care experience
- Experience with EMR systems
- Ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment
