The Opportunity - 12 Months Fixed
We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Officer to join our Finance team on a 12month fixedterm contract. This role plays a key part in ensuring accurate and timely supplier payments while delivering an excellent service experience to both internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Endtoend Accounts Payable processing for trade and sundry creditors including overseas suppliers
Review validate and upload stock and freight invoices for payment
Source invoice approvals code invoices accurately and manage due dates to avoid late fees
Prepare and manage EFT payment runs
Monitor the Accounts Payable mailbox and respond to internal and external queries
Process team expense reimbursements
Perform supplier account reconciliations as required
Support monthend activities including:
o Responding to queries from the wider Finance team across multiple regions
o Reviewing aged creditors reports and addressing overdue items
o Assisting with audit requests
Contribute to business process improvement initiatives
Provide backup and support across the Finance team as required
About You
To be successful in this role you will ideally have:
A Bachelor of Commerce Business or related degree (or currently studying)
Minimum 2 years Accounts Payable experience in a highvolume fastpaced environment
Experience working with multiple currencies
Intermediate Excel skills
High attention to detail and accuracy
Strong customer service and communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Windows applications
Experience using finance systems (Oracle highly regarded)
Retail accounting experience (desirable)
