QA Engineer Platform

Schedule: CET Schedule Monday to Friday

We are seeking a detail-oriented QA Engineer to join our team specializing in the testing of our high-volume transactional platform. You will be responsible for validating end-to-end transaction flows ensuring data accuracy between systems and conducting thorough functional integration and regression testing.

The ideal candidate has a break-it mindset experience in fintech or iGaming and a passion for uncovering critical edge cases in complex backend systems.

Core Responsibilities

• Analyze business requirements and user stories to create comprehensive test scenarios and detailed test cases.

• Perform end-to-end validation of transaction lifecycles (initiation authorization settlement and reconciliation).

• Use SQL to query databases directly validating data accuracy and transformation rules across systems.

• Conduct manual validation of REST APIs using Postman to verify transaction requests and responses.

• Identify log and track bugs using Jira providing high-quality reproduction steps screenshots and logs.

• Regression & Exploratory Testing: Ensure existing functionality remains stable after deployments while proactively exploring the platform for hidden risks.

• UAT Support: Assist business stakeholders during User Acceptance Testing to ensure the final product meets commercial needs.

Technical Profile

• Experience: 4 years of manual testing experience specifically focused on web applications and backend validation.

• Domain Knowledge: Strong background in iGaming (highly preferred) fintech payment gateways or banking platforms.

• SQL Proficiency: Ability to write intermediate SQL queries to validate data integrity within relational databases.

• API Testing: Solid understanding of REST APIs and hands-on experience with tools like Postman.

• Tooling: Proficiency with Jira and test management tools (e.g. TestRail or Zephyr).

• Process: Deep understanding of the STLC and working within Agile/Scrum environments.

• Mindset: Strong analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail and a focus on high-volume transactional data.
