Role Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Regional Account Manager to lead and grow strategic partnerships with key national/regional clients. The regions this role will service are in the Southern part of Germany. This role is pivotal in driving revenue and margin growth enhancing customer satisfaction and ensuring the successful execution of account strategies across the country/multiple regions. The ideal candidate will possess strong commercial acumen excellent relationship management skills and a proven track record in managing high-value accounts within a fast-paced competitive environment.
Develop and implement strategic account plans to achieve sales targets and business objectives.
Analyze market trends and customer data to identify growth opportunities within national/regional accounts.
Serve as the primary point of contact for key national/regional clients ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
Build and maintain long-term relationships with senior stakeholders and decision-makers.
Drive revenue growth through upselling cross-selling and identifying new business opportunities.
Negotiate contracts pricing and service agreements in alignment with company policies.
Work closely with marketing supply chain finance and product teams to deliver tailored solutions to clients.
Coordinate internal resources to ensure timely and successful delivery of products and services.
Track account performance metrics and provide regular updates to senior management.
Prepare and present business reviews forecasts and strategic recommendations.
Stay informed about industry trends competitor activities and regulatory changes that may impact client relationships or business strategy.
Qualifications and Experience
Bachelors degree in business administration Marketing Sales or a related field
5 years of experience in account management sales or business development preferably in a national or regional capacity.
Proven track record of managing large complex accounts and achieving or exceeding sales targets
Experience working in cross-functional teams and collaborating with internal departments such as marketing finance and operations.
Strong background in contract negotiation pricing strategy and customer relationship management.
Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g. Salesforce HubSpot) and data analysis tools.
Industry-specific experience (e.g. FMCG retail tech healthcare) may be required depending on the employer.
