MechanicalPiping Designer

*This is a remote position and can be located anywhere in the U.S*

Introduction:

The Designer will have intermediate knowledge of generating AutoCAD Drawings and Plant 3D Models for installation details panel layouts and equipment/instrument wiring schematics for piping and facility projects. The Designer will develop CAD designs from general instruction to a detailed finish product. The Designer will coordinate efforts and work with Drafters to prepare and assemble project deliverables. The Designer should have a full understanding of file structure piping specifications industry and client standards related to assigned projects.

Required Qualifications:

• 5- 10 years of advanced AutoCAD

Preferred Qualifications:

• Plant 3D preferred but open to CADworx
• Associate degree or completion of related technical school courses or equivalent experience preferred
• Ability to self-manage workload and supervise a small design team to execute results
• Organization:Stay on task and complete projects within budget
• Detail oriented:The little things matter!
• Resilient and self-motivated:You are always striving to build upon previous successes
