A global technology-driven organization is expanding its R&D team and seeking PhD-level Power Electronics Engineers to support next-generation product development and innovation initiatives.
This is a high-visibility hands-on R&D role focused on advanced power electronics design development and testing within a fast-paced engineering environment.
What Youll Do
- Design develop and validate power electronics systems and components
- Work across converter topologies power architectures and control strategies
- Perform simulation modeling prototyping and testing of new designs
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including hardware firmware and systems engineering
- Support product development from concept through commercialization
- Troubleshoot and optimize performance of high-power high-efficiency systems
What Were Looking For
- PhD in Electrical Engineering (Power Electronics focus strongly preferred)
- Candidates with exceptional industry experience may also be considered
- Strong background in:
- Power electronics design (DC/DC AC/DC inverters converters)
- Control systems and power conversion theory
- Simulation tools (MATLAB/Simulink PLECS SPICE etc.)
- Hands-on experience with lab testing prototyping and validation
- Ability to work in a fast-paced R&D environment
Nice to Have
- Industry experience in renewable energy EV battery systems or high-power applications
- Bilingual (Mandarin Chinese) is a plus but not required
- Experience working in global or cross-cultural engineering teams
