Snowflake+DBT Production Support Manager

We are looking for an experienced Snowflake and DBT Production Support Manager to join a data technology team in Toronto. You will oversee production support operations manage incidents across all levels and ensure platform stability while maintaining strong client relationships and meeting service commitments.

What youll do

• Manage production support and incident resolution across L1 L2 and L3 levels
• Monitor and troubleshoot Snowflake environments including query performance and architecture issues
• Support and maintain DBT pipelines and transformations in a production setting
• Write and optimize advanced SQL queries across multiple tables and datasets
• Manage job scheduling and monitoring using Control-M
• Log track and resolve incidents using ServiceNow in line with established SLAs and KPIs
• Oversee governance monitoring and reporting across data platforms
• Communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders to manage expectations and ensure timely resolution

What you bring

• Strong hands-on knowledge of Snowflake including querying and architecture
• Solid experience with DBT in a production environment
• Advanced SQL skills including complex joins and query optimization
• Experience with Control-M for job scheduling
• Familiarity with ServiceNow for incident management
• Proven production support experience across L1 L2 and L3 levels
• Excellent communication and client relationship management skills
• Demonstrated ability to meet SLAs and KPIs in a fast-paced environment

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Python for data scripting and automation
• Experience with Azure Data Factory or DataStage
• Background in data governance and platform monitoring

Work setup

• 6 month contract based in Toronto ON
