Job Description
Candidate MUST already live in the area and be Southwest of Atlanta. Candidates in Atlanta or North Atlanta may be too far.
No relocation assistance is authorized nor will it be accepted
Position Summary:
Seeking a Technical Specialist to support the Failure Analysis team with activities related to the overall analysis of defective parts. This position is responsible for conducting basic defect investigations on low to moderately complex issues and assisting Failure Analysis Engineers with related tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform defect investigations under moderate supervision.
- Assist senior engineers in designing experiments to:
- Confirm defect root causes.
- Replicate failure modes.
- Follow established procedures and work instructions for testing and analysis.
- Document findings and maintain accurate records of test results.
- Operate standard lab equipment including multimeters microscopes and X-ray machines (if applicable).
Required Skills & Experience
- Associate degree in Electronic Engineering Technology or equivalent experience.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel PowerPoint Outlook).
Preferred Qualifications Experience with:
- Soldering QFN QFP BGA components (a plus)
- Reading and interpreting schematics. (a plus)
- Use of hand tools and multimeters.
