IT Officer

Job Summary:

• We are seeking a proactive and solutions-driven IT Officer to oversee and manage the company’s day-to-day IT operations. The role will be responsible for ensuring the smooth functioning of IT systems providing technical support to users and maintaining the reliability security and efficiency of the organization’s IT infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily IT operations including systems networks and hardware
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for hardware software and network issues
• Manage installation configuration and maintenance of IT equipment and systems
• Monitor system performance and ensure uptime reliability and security
• Coordinate with external vendors and service providers for IT-related services and procurement
• Maintain IT documentation asset inventory and user access controls
• Implement and enforce IT policies procedures and best practices
• Assist in planning and executing IT upgrades system improvements and new technology rollouts
• Ensure data backup disaster recovery and cybersecurity measures are in place
• Support business applications and internal systems used by various departments
• Provide basic training and guidance to employees on IT tools and systems

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology Computer Science or a related field
• 2–4 years of relevant work experience in IT support systems administration or similar roles
• Strong knowledge of computer hardware software networks and troubleshooting
• Experience with Windows environments basic networking and system administration
• Familiarity with cybersecurity practices and data protection
• Experience working with vendors and managing IT-related projects is a plus
• Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
