Were looking for someone to join our team in a part-time CSS role with weekday afternoon and Saturday morning availability. This role offers the opportunity to grow and cross-train into a Veterinary Technician Assistant position for those interested in expanding their skills in patient care. The Client Service Specialist (CSS) serves as the clinics primary point of contact shaping the initial client experience through all interactions- whether by phone or Client Service Specialist is responsible for delivering a positive client experience and fostering strong relationships that cultivate long-term loyalty and advocacy for CityVet.
A day in the life at CityVet Lower South End
As a CSS youll be the first and last point of contact for our clientssetting the tone for every visit.
- Greet clients and patients with warmth and professionalism
- Answer phones schedule appointments and manage daily flow
- Provide accurate information about services pricing and policies
- Process payments and maintain accurate records
- Support the medical team by keeping communication seamless
- Maintain a clean welcoming front desk and lobby environment
Essential Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- At least 18 years of age at the time of hire
Ideal Experience
- Previous experience in a veterinary clinic or animal care setting
- Prior customer service or front desk experience
- Experience handling multi-line phones and appointment scheduling
- Basic knowledge of animal handling and restraint techniques
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment
