Area Head of TCO (AU & NZ)
Job Summary
Key responsibilities
Establish close and integrated ties with the operating business units by defining implementing and supporting effective infrastructure applications and integration to help the business improve efficiencies reduce costs and support business growth.
Manage project pipeline from Business to ensure IT resources are adequately staff-up to align with required timeline
Attend any Business Review meeting with customers and gather/understand/follow-up areas of concern and improvement
Work with business and operation team to understand their requirements to implement and deliver the appropriate IT solution
Carry out full implementation from Design solution development testing to go-live
Manage project on timely delivery and within scope
Coordinate with Global TCO and extend Maersk resources to deliver any development or customization if necessary
Ensure the definition alignment and quality of functional requirements project plans system configuration and test plans.
Oversee and govern the configuration of applications required to support operations including peripheral applications and devices.
Review implementation methodology and tools regularly and keep them up to date
Ensure and sponsor the delivery of training for super-users and project team members.
Ensure the smooth operation of IT services and infrastructure.
Oversee the implementation and maintenance of all IT systems and networks.
Handle any change requirements
Review existing implementation and find any improvement opportunities
Ensure any issues reported are attended to until it is closed
Establish and maintain change control incident and escalation procedure
Manage service level KPI and escalation
Act as communicator during critical escalation
Conduct disaster recovery and system testing if needed
Support any system migration and upgrade
Liaise with third-party providers and negotiate contracts and services.
Ensure the quality and cost-effectiveness of outsourced IT services.
Continuously seek opportunities for improvement and innovation.
Ensure compliance with cyber security team.

Area based Whole of Australia and New Zealand
Qualifications
At least 8 years of Implementing managing and supporting warehouse management system and daily work using Bl analysis tools
Strong business knowledge of supply chain execution in any or all of the following verticals:
Distribution centre services in warehouse operations and contract logistics (must have)
Transport management
Experience in organizing and managing major IT projects.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong leadership experience in managing regional/country IT team.
Good English communication skills (written and verbal) with business leadership and other level of the users
Bachelors degree in science/information technology or Industrial engineering
Certified project manager is an added advantage
