Job Title: Epic Applications Analyst IV (Phoenix Transplant) Location: San Francisco CA CPMC Transplant Services Schedule: Hybrid (50% onsite required / 50% remote) Contract: 12-month contract with potential extension up to 3 years
Requirements: Epic Phoenix certification (required) Epic Ambulatory OR ClinDoc certification (required) 5 years of Epic application analyst experience in healthcare environments Experience with multi-organ transplant centers across healthcare organizations Experience with Epic Phoenix implementation workflow design and optimization (not just support) Experience in outpatient transplant workflows including referrals evaluation and waitlist management Ability to work independently and drive initiatives with minimal oversight Experience with cross-functional coordination escalation and project support Proficiency in workflow analysis process improvement and operational standardization
Preferred: Experience with Epic Phoenix billing workflows or revenue cycle integration (strong plus) Experience training end users and supporting adoption of Epic workflows Experience working within large health systems or enterprise EHR environments Ability to support change management and stakeholder alignment initiatives Experience partnering with clinical operational and IT stakeholders
Summary: This role supports Epic Phoenix within Sutter Healths transplant program focusing on optimizing and standardizing workflows across outpatient transplant operations. The analyst will assess current-state processes identify inefficiencies and design improved workflows across referrals evaluation waitlist management and longitudinal care. This is not a ticket-based support role. It requires hands-on experience with implementation-level workflow development and optimization and the ability to operate as an independent contributor.
