Hours/Shift:
Full Time Days-36 hours per week 4 (9 hour shifts a week) with some call.
Performs complex invasive interventional procedures such as diagnostic therapeutic and/or interventional procedures under the direction of a qualified physician while adhering to interventional and procedural policies and protocols: provides patient and family education; operates equipment safely; completes department documentation; maintains all equipment to be clean and operational; maintains adequate supply of inventory for performing examinations; participates in departmental performance improvement activities
Qualifications:
Education & Certifications:
Graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
ARRT certification in Radiography required; CI/NIR (Neuro Interventional Radiography) certification preferred or must be obtained.
Vascular Interventional Radiography (VIR) certification or experience preferred.
BLS certification required; ACLS preferred.
BLS and RCIS or RCES certification required. ACLS will be required within 90 days of hire.

Our hospital completed a renovation in 2016 including two new patient towers a beautiful atrium and a multi-story parking garage. We are also home to the regions only 24-hour hyperbaric oxygen program that helps speed up the healing of carbon monoxide poisoning wounds that wont heal infections in which tissues are starved for oxygen airborne chemical exposures and scuba diving accidents.
