HIM Director Health Information Technology Role:

Full-time permanent direct hire opportunity
Schedule: Monday-Friday 8a-5p
Oversee a total of 58 employees
HIM Director Health Information Technology provides leadership for all Health Information Management functions including record processing coding accuracy and timeliness transcription indexing release of information trauma registry physician suspension process and more
Establishes and enforces HIM policies ensuring efficient system procedures and maintains strong communication with leadership and other staff members

HIM Director Health Information Technology Requirements:

Bachelors Degree in Health Information Science or related field
5 years of medical coding experience
5 years of management/supervisory experience
Must be a Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT)
Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA) preferred
