Job Summary
A vacancy has arisen for a WO/MAcr (Any Profession) to serve as WO Land Safety 2 within the Force Protection Safety Team (FPST) at RAF Honington Bury St Edmunds on Additional Duties Commitment (180) Terms and Conditions of Service (TCoS) with an initial proposed start date of 05 October 2026 (or earlier/later subject to candidate status).
FPST WO Safety 2 is an integral role within a small team responsible to SO2 Safety Oversight and Analysis (O&A). The team support the delivery of FPST O&A outputs across the Land and Aviation safety environments in support to both the RAF Regiment Force and RAF Police Force.
Principal roles to include:
- Monitoring trend analysis and managing the inform functions of safety occurrence reporting and management including but not limited to My Safety and ASSIMS platforms across the RAF Regiment Force and RAF Police Force.
- Trackreviewand assist in the provision of advice onriskelevation process to include but not limited to the coordination of Risk Owner Advice Notes and Duty Holder Advice notes.
- Conduct review of key Land environment Safety policies.
- Support review of RAF Regiment Force and RAF Police Force policy to include but not limited to Safety & Environment Management Plans (SEMP).
- Cohere all safety advice & guidance requests from HQ & Force Elements and coordinate the distribution of FPST responses.
